Individual Parenting Support

Free individual parenting sessions are available for parents who want knowledge and support in how to best help facilitate their children’s growth. These one-to-one or group parenting sessions take place in the main office. You can call the main office at 604-941-7111 to set up an intake appointment.

Circle Security for Mother and Father

A secure attachment between child and caregiver is critical to a child’s current and future wellbeing. Research shows that secure children have: increased empathy, greater self-esteem, better relationships with parents and peers, and a better ability to handle their emotions, and they enter school more prepared to learn. In this virtual workshop series (8 weeks), you will learn how to:

  • better understand your child(ren)’s emotional world by learning to read emotional needs;
  • support your child(ren)’s ability to manage emotions;
  • enhance the development of your child(ren)’s self-esteem; and
  • honour your child(ren’s) wish to be secure.
